What is the IB?
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a globally recognized and internationally oriented course designed for students aged 16 to 19. It provides access to prestigious universities worldwide. Offered in 139 countries, the IBDP connects students to a global community united by a shared mission and learner profile.
This rigorous and comprehensive program fosters reflective and critical thinking. Students study six subjects, with one subject from each group, taking three at standard level and three at higher level.

Admission Process
- Academic Records: Submission of recent academic transcripts demonstrating consistent academic achievement.
- Motivation Essay: A 300–500-word essay outlining the applicant’s interest in the IB Diploma Programme, academic and career aspirations, and how they embody the IB learner profile.
- Entrance Assessments:
- Mathematics: A written assessment to evaluate proficiency in algebra, geometry, and problem-solving skills. A minimum score of 65% is required, with scores of 80% or higher strengthening scholarship eligibility.
- English: A test to assess language proficiency, requiring a minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Candidates with C1 level proficiency are prioritized for scholarships, while those with B1 proficiency may be admitted conditionally, subject to participation in an intensive English support program.
- Interview: A personal interview with the IB DP admissions team to assess academic readiness, motivation, communication skills, critical thinking, and alignment with IB values.
- Completed application form.
- Academic transcripts.
- Motivation essay (300–500 words).
- Proof of English proficiency (if available, e.g., CEFR certificate or equivalent).
- Recommendation letter (optional but encouraged).
- Financial aid application and supporting documents (for need-based scholarship applicants).
- Subject fees for each chosen subject.
- Access to digital learning platforms, textbooks, and supplementary learning resources.
- Transportation and meals are not included in the tuition fee and are available at an additional cost.
- Living expenses for international students, including accommodation, personal expenses, insurance, and visas, are not covered and must be arranged independently by families.
1. Merit-Based Scholarships: Full or partial scholarships are available for students demonstrating outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, and commitment to the IB learner profile. Eligibility is assessed through:
- Academic transcripts reflecting consistent excellence (e.g., top 10% of their cohort).
- Entrance exam results, with a minimum score of 80% in Mathematics and a C1 level English proficiency (CEFR).
- A compelling motivation essay (300–500 words) showcasing intellectual curiosity, global awareness, and alignment with IB values.
- Exceptional performance in the admissions interview, demonstrating critical thinking, communication skills, and a passion for learning.
2. Need-Based Scholarships: Partial scholarships are offered to students who demonstrate financial need alongside strong academic potential. Applicants must submit a financial aid application, including supporting documentation (e.g., family income statements), in addition to meeting the academic admission requirements (minimum 70% in Mathematics and B2 English proficiency).
