Phase 01
Application form
For admission, the parent/guardian completes an application form provided by the educational complex (in digital or paper format).

Admission unfolds through six clear phases.

Knowledge & skills assessment
The application form is followed by an assessment stage. Only upon successfully passing it can a child be admitted to the school.
- For Grade 1, a playful, conversational interview is conducted with the child, along with a school-readiness psychological assessment.
- For Grades 2–12, subject to vacancies, an assessment of knowledge and abilities is carried out in 4 subjects (Armenian language, Mathematics, English, Russian).
- For Grades 7–12, the qualifying score for FREE tuition that year is announced in advance.

Interview with parents/guardians
Following positive results from the child's interviews/exams, an interview is held with the parents/guardians, led by the Executive Director with the participation of the school psychologist.
- 04Phase 04
Admissions decision
The final admissions decision is made by the admissions committee, which includes the school director, the PYP coordinator, the psychologist and, as needed, other representatives and subject specialists. The committee's decision is final and not subject to review. The decision may be to accept, to place on the waiting list, or to decline.
1Decision to admit
- If the applicant meets the established requirements and a place is available, they are admitted. If the parent does not sign the contract within the set deadline, does not pay 10% of the first year's tuition, and does not fulfil other obligations, the place is offered to another applicant on the waiting list.
- Priority is given to children with a sibling already studying at the complex, as well as to children from Newtonic Pre-school, provided they apply by 15 February.
2Decision to place on the waiting list
- If the applicant meets the requirements but no place is available, they are placed on the waiting list. If a place opens up, the parent is informed.
- If a child on the waiting list is not offered a place, a new application must be submitted for the following academic year.
3Decision to decline
- The school is not the right environment for the applicant's development.
- The applicant's overall profile or assessment results show that the child does not yet meet the programme's requirements.
- The required documents have not been submitted, or have been submitted incompletely.
- The parent's expectations of the school do not align with the services, approaches and environment we offer.

Document submission
Upon a positive decision, within the set deadline the parent must submit:
- Application — completed by hand at the educational complex.
- Online application — https://ohanyan.org/application/
- Signed contract and disciplinary rules.
- Child's health and immunisation certificate (Form 26).
- Two photographs, size 3×4.
- Copies of the child's birth certificate and the public services number certificate.
- Copy/copies of the parent(s)' ID document(s).
- Records of prior education — the student's “Personal File” booklet (except when entering Grade 1).
- Prepayment receipt — 10% of the first year's tuition. The prepayment is applied as the first month's fee and is non-refundable if the child transfers out.

Enrolment order
The applicant is considered admitted and officially enrolled once the full set of documents listed above has been submitted. If the package is incomplete, the educational complex reserves the right to admit, in the child's place, another applicant from the waiting list.
