The methodological group of OHANYAN educational complex developed a new curriculum for arts education. Elementary school students discover the world of art, as other subjects through art with interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary connections. This time we studied cubism and explored math with the lens of art.
We held a presidential election in Ohanyan Educational Complex at the initiative of the high school students. For weeks, the candidates for the Student Council president presented their programs, followed by the election according to the rules. The election was attended by committee members from all classes, the chairman of the committee, observers, and teachers. As a result of an impartial election, 9th-grade student Robert Melkonyan was elected the president of the Student Council with the overwhelming majority of votes.

The academic complex’s teachers, pedagogues, and administrative staff recently participated in an international training. The program, which is one of the requirements for joining the International Baccalaureate Schools Network, gave teachers the chance to expand on the information they already had and develop their planning skills.
Since Ohanyan educational complex’s founding, chess has been taught as a separate course for nearly 20 years. Chess helps us develop skills such as move prediction, planning, logic, patience, the capacity to win while also accepting defeat, and the desire to achieve the best outcome.
As an International Baccalaureate (IB) candidate school, we share the philosophy of the program: IB aims to develop inquiring,, knowledgeable and caring individuals who will build a more peaceful world through intercultural tolerance and mutual respect.

This time, the pupils of Ohanyan educational complex took part in the 1st closed duodo championship of the TANDER sports club and took the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places of honor. Our winners are:
We all celebrated the New Year together in primary school with various shows dressed as vibrant and colorful characters. Our students are exceptional actors. Children, parents, and all guests were transferred to a fantasy world as a result of the collaborative efforts of primary school teachers, who turned a series of children’s New Year’s events into a true fairy tale.
